Zamboanga Peninsula Region (Region IX)

Zamboanga Peninsula is an administrative region consists of three provinces and a city of which is a part of ARMM province of Basilan. Pagadian City is the regional center. The region was previously known as Western Mindanao before the enactment of Executive Order No. 36 on September 19, 2001.

• Zamboanga Sibugay
• Isabela City (Capital of Basilan Province but not part of the ARMM)
